7,000 REASONS TO BUY NOW - FIRST HOME OWNER GRANTS
FOR NEW HOMES
The Government has a Grant available for First Home Owners who build or
buy a new or existing home of $7,000.
The Grant is available on any home, flat, townhouse, apartment or unit
anywhere in South Australia. You can choose to have the home specially
built for you or you can buy a brand new home, such as one in a new development,
an ex-display home or an established home.
The home will qualify for the Grant as long as within 12 months of settlement,
you move into the home and it must be your main place of residence.
To establish that you are eligible for the First Home Owner Grant, you
must be able to answer yes to all of the following questions:
1. Are you, or your partner who is applying for the Grant, an Australian
citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen
permanently residing in Australia with a Special Category Visa?
2. Is this the first home that you, or anyone else named on the application
for the Grant, have owned?
3. Are you going to live in the home within 12 months of completion or
hand over?
4. Are you applying under your own name? Except in cases of legal disability,
companies may not apply.
5. Is everyone who is considered an owner of the new home named on the
application?
